Not sure who took pictures of this since I found it on a random gallery before finding it again on 4chan.

Anyway! This is my Gijinka Sandshrew costume that I made for Anime Boston. I say its a WIP because what you can't see there is the missing waistband and side/back pockets. Other than that and a small spot on the back where I missed with my sewing machine and its complete.

Debuted at: AnimeBoston 08
Time taken to complete: about 10 to 12 hours on the hoodie and about 4 to 5 on the shorts.
Character: Sandshrew (Gijinka - Humanized version)
Series or Game: Pokemon
Inspiration for cosplay: Those asses :iconlousyitachi:, :iconstardustshadow:, and :iconpaulioshi: posted pictures of the Gijinka Pokemon all over LJ. So figured I had just enough time to make one of the simpler ones.
Comments: No waistband and no pockets makes it a rather interesting pair of shorts. REALLY surprised they didn't almost falldown at all.

The patterns I use mostly for sizing and whatnot are your normal hoodie patterns you can find at any Joanns fabric store.

what is that thing in the bubble wrap? oh yeah... i never can do waistband... it take to much from me.... but nothing ever falls down!! yay me!!!

That would be a controller for the game Pop'n Music ( [link] ) but that one was a solid blue controller.

I'm actually still missing a waistband on those. Really hoping I didn't loose the pieces for it.
